Weil am Rhein, August 2006. With W5-traxX, Wampfler AG has developed a new generation of media supply systems. It integrates the compressed air line into an aluminium carrier profile and continuously supplies moving consumers with compressed air, electrical energy and data via energy guiding chains, conductor rails or festoon systems. An adaptable, contact-free position gauging system complements the range and permits exact determination of the position of the trolley and automated data acquisition in the assembly line. W5-traxX is thus the ideal solution for demanding assembly lines.
The modular design and an all-sided mounting system with clamping profiles guarantee simple installation and flexible retrofitting or reorganisation. An extensive safety package rounds out the new solution from Wampfler: Double O-ring seals, captive screw connections and retainer devices as standard on all travel gear axles offer the ultimate in safety.
