Swedish Krankomponenter Wampfler AB taken over
New subsidiary Conductix-Wampfler AB
Previous distribution partner becomes integral part of the group / new subsidiary Conductix-Wampfler AB / Directly catering to Swedish customers in the future using its own Sales & Marketing Organization.
Weil am Rhein, in January 2010. The Conductix-Wampfler AG, part of the Conductix-Wampfler group, the world’s leading supplier of mobile energy supply and data transmission systems, has taken over its longtime distribution partner in Sweden, the Krankomponenter Wampfler AB. The purchase price remains confidential. The new subsidiary will be named Conductix-Wampfler AB. Lennart Svedberg, the founder, previous owner and managing director of Krankomponenter Wampfler AB will become Managing Director of the Sales & Marketing Organization (SMO) in Sweden and will ensure that the Swedish market is continuously developed.
With the takeover Conductix-Wampfler now has its own distribution company in Sweden, which will be completely responsible for the Swedish market. “The purchase was an important step for us to increase our commitment in Scandinavia,” stresses Daniel Döflinger, CEO of Conductix-Wampfler AG. The new subsidiary will cater directly to all Swedish customers and offer the entire product and service portfolio of the group. “This will allow us to serve the Swedish market even more direct and customer-oriented with the back-up of our worldwide operating distribution and service network,” says Dörflinger.
