Corporate Games - Let the games begin!

1.–2.7. Annecy (France). The Corporate Games took place on July 1/2 in Annecy, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, with companies from the most varied fields competing against one another. The disciplines on offer included walking and swimming, and also more exotic events, such as dragon-boat racing and stand-up paddling. Obviously, team sports such as football and petanque could not be left out.

The Conductix-Wampfler group with a total of 97 members took part in the games. Employees from Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, Russia and Sweden took the challenge.

Beforehand, on Friday, June 30, the Belley branch opened its doors to Conductix-Wampfler colleagues from abroad. After a tour of the company’s offices and production facilities, the program included a convivial barbecue, where employees from the various national companies had a chance to become better acquainted.

The proceedings then moved to Annecy, where the Corporate Games started on the next day.

The Conductix-Wampfler group was represented with runners, swimmers, mountain bikers, football players and petanque (boules) players. A mountain biker from the center of excellence (CoE) in Weil am Rhein even took a silver medal home with her.

On Saturday night there was a “Games Party” for the participants - around 5000 in number - starting with an athletes’ parade around the lake.

Everyone agreed, it was a very successful weekend!
