The overall dimension of the motor cable reel is reduced by 70% due to the compact design and the optimized mounting of the new Fiber Optic Rotary Joint (FORJ). The robust construction enables highest reliability even at high speed applications.
Non-interrupted fiber optic cores and standard connectors provide continuous data transmission with lowest attenuation values far below the common 3dB.
The use of high quality plastic, nickel-plated steel and terminal boxes made of stainless steel (IP65) ensure high corrosion protection even in aggressive atmosphere. The FORJ is limited in the number of revolutions due to the use of a continuous cable. The standard product range includes FORJ with 40, 60, 90 and 120 max. possible turns. Herewith travel lengths up to 1,5km can be covered.
Further advantage: 6, 12 or 18 cores in single mode or multi mode as standard. For the first time also a combination of single and multi mode cores within one FORJ is possible.
